Organizing a race?

Hey, So I know I may be dreaming but I'd love to put on a race at Horne Lake Road. There has been alot of heat there lately I know, But what would it take to get the road partially or fully shut down I don't know how it would work. I imagine the road couldn't be completely shut down and there would probably need to be flaggers and such. I think this could be an awesome race and I'm sure I'm not the only one to think about this. So my question is: would it be worth it to contact the proper peoples about getting a race going? or is there no hope for a race here like I'm led to believe. Were gonna keep bombin this road with respect to the locals and the cops. I recommend staying away for a week or two cause we were walking up carrying our boards and we got stopped and given a "warning."
