What is the green skate?

I was just wondering what the green skate is. Is it something
like the sea wall cruise, or is it like a big skate sesh?

It's a day where you go out and push long distance on your longboard, with yo' buddies in order to support to environmentally friendly transportation. But mostly it's a day to get together and skate.
