something about the chinook

thinking about to get a chinook. can anyone tell me the
pros and cons of it?? I'm just a begginner and I've read
all the reviews about it online but just want to hear
some things about it from other ppl. thanks

the chinook is a rad board for cruising and can be setup for speed. the upturned nose makes it really turny (depending on truck base plate and bushing combo) and the dropped platform for easy pushing and lower center of gravity. You will have a hard time riding it switch though. its a great beginner board and i highly recommend it!

If you get it, go with a lower degree baseplate in the front like a Randal 42º or Bear 40º because all that extra wedging makes it turn like crap with 50º or higher plates in the front. Otherwise you could de-wedge the front with an angled wedge riser and still run a 50º front truck.
