Adjust the distributor by moving it left or right(clockwise or anti clock) by just a 1/4 to a half inch and see which elliminates the banging. It is probably loose, so when you have it in the right position, jamb a piece of folded cardbaord a couple times and try prop it inbetween the motor and the distributor to hold her still.. Someone please tell him to check his email for more instructions or to call.
