@ Rob, I actually called the director of tourism for Madison County when talking to Cathlamet folks. The two towns are almost exactly the same size (about 500 people, compared to Goldendale's 3000+) and in negative economic indexes. They very much do want the race to come back, but it isn't just county funds needed, they have to get the state to sign off on repair funds too. Just my 2c
