VERNON DH 2010 THIS WEEKEND!

Hello Everyone,
The race is this weekend and there are plenty of available
spots open! Come out and race and support the event!
Registration & Technical Inspection will be on Friday at 7-
9PM at the BX Elementary school at the bottom of Silver
Star and on Saturday at 8AM on the top of the race
course. Entry fee is $160.
Leathers with all holes duct-taped are mandatory and so
are full face helmets. Tech Inspection will go on on Friday
and Saturday as well. All tech must be done by the end of
the day Saturday to race on Sunday.
THERE IS TO BE NO RIDING THE COURSE BEFORE OR AFTER
THE EVENT! RESIDENTS ARE HAPPY WITH THE EVENT BUT
WANT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD SAFE AND QUIET OUTSIDE
OF THE TWO DAY EVENT! Thank you!
ALSO, please do not park at the course or on the side
streets. Please park in the event parking at the bottom of
the hill and take a bus to the top. There is to be no
drinking or pot on the race course or anywhere near it!
RCMP and BYLAW will be making rounds so if you want to
be safe, keep it off site!
Unlike last year where I was more lenient, I WILL
DISQUALIFY YOU for smoking pot or drinking alcohol on
or near the race course! NO EXCEPTIONS! It is a family
friendly event in the middle of a neighbourhood. Don't
ruin the event or the the reputation of the sport. You are
being welcomed into the neighbourhood, so respect it!
Anyone thinking of coming up, please do so! You will have
a fun time.
WHEN: June 12-13th (THIS WEEKEND)
FEE: $160
WHERE: Vernon, BC on Middleton Way off HWY 6
Racer lunches are provided both days with plenty of water
available on site. Saturday is practice and qualifying (hope
to get like 4-6 practice runs) with more practice if we
finish qualifying early. Sunday will be more practice and
then racing (maybe 4 practice runs). Will be using a 128-
racer bracket again so everyone is racing. Open, Womens,
Juniors and Streetluge and Buttboard classes are available.
Waivers are up on the site for anyone still waiting on one.
Those who emailed me will receive on replying to their
emails.
Goodie bags are alive and well!
The course will also be a bit tighter to fit more spectator
protection and walkways so get ready to pucker up!

returning early, very early monday. If you
don't know what the Loco is about and have
only heard rumors, well they are all true
and the experience is full of memories
