I'm just starting to get into going fast, I'm mostly getting a helmet for free riding, but will do some speed runs, should i get a half dome? or a full face helmet? and where could I get it?

I got my Protec Ace from Sport Chek for $20 on sale.
They also had some decent looking Bells and others.
