im pretty sure thats in white rock, in which case there alredy was a city by-law there prohibiting skateboarding on public roadways. skateboarding is not allowed everywhere like it is in vancouver (bylaw 77a states that skateboarding on non-major roads is legal, for those that might want to know).

Use all the bike paths they are paving in the city. At
least we use our helmets more than some of the
bicyclists I have seen lately.
