SEPTEMBER 25 & 26

Mexifly posted,

Here we go again, another exclusive event put on by an elistist prick.

PLEASE NOTE THE NEW EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!!!

Get ready for another weekend of riding the most famous longboarding hill in the world. This event is open to the first riders who sign up and pay the $105 via PayPal. Send payments to or contact me at maryhillratz@gmail.com for other payment arrangements. When you send your payment please include who the payment is for and how many volunteers will be coming with you. This event is open all, so be sure to pass the word on to those riders who should be there.

This is not a race and there are no prizes, spectators or camping. Just a closed hill with hay bales, EMT’s safety workers and shuttles. The first shuttle starts at 9am and goes to 5pm. We will try and get as many runs as possible each day. As you know from previous years, this event happens rain or shine.

There will be NO SPECTATORS!!!!! If you are planning on coming with friends, girlfriends, boyfriends or a parent and they want to get onto the property, they must be signed up in advance and they will be put to work as a volunteer. There will be no one allowed on the property that is not on the list. Volunteers and racers will be required to sign a waiver and those under 18 will have to have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian to enter the property.

ANY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY AND, IF NECESSARY, THEY WILL BE ESCORTED OFF THE PROPERTY BY THE LOCAL SHERRIFF AND CHARGED WITH TRESSAPSSING!

There is a need for about 14 to 20 volunteers. Volunteers will not be paid but will be allowed time on the hill throughout the weekend and after hours. Volunteers will also be needed on Friday September 24 to set up and clean up the hill. They will be the only ones riding the hill on those days.

The attendance is limited to insure the riders get the maximum amount of time on the hill (we expect between 10 and 15 runs a day) but still cover the large expense of renting the hill, EMT’s and everything else it takes to put this event on. If you sign up and pay THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS! You may, however, be offered a credit for a future event.

If you sign up as a volunteer and do not show up you will be blacklisted from all future events. The idea is to keep this event small so the riders can get the most runs they can. Any course workers who sign up and do not show up put the whole event at risk so if you sign up please be serious.

Leathers and a full face helmet are required. If you are found to be riding ANYWHERE on the property without a helmet you will be asked to leave.
There is no smoking of anything on the property. There will be no alcohol consumption by participants in the event. The event organizers and the workers are GOD. Their word is law. Give them grief and you may find yourself escorted off the property without a refund.
That goes for all the rules, you break ‘em and you may find yourself being asked to leave and if someone does not want to leave the Sherriff will be called and charges will be filed.

This event is open to all skill levels so these rules will be strictly enforced to insure the safety of all involved.

The fall Freeride at Maryhill will be a celebration of life, dedicated to the loss of our speedboarding sister, Glenna.
