First of all, my condolences to the
friends and family of the man.
Secondly, the comments on that site are
ridiculous, trying to say that it's the
skaters fault for being out in the dark
and not in a skate park or trying to say
that the skater was drunk. I think
every one of us should go there and post
a sensible comment saying that
longboarding is a safe method of
transportation and that most of us
actually do follow rules of the road and
wear safety gear (as the man was, but
the don't seem to get that). Skate safe
guys there's too many crazy drivers out
there.
