snow boarding with charly helmet?

i just bought a couple of snowboards and am stolked for the season. but i do not have a snowboarding helmet and i was wondering if my charly would work anyone have any inpute?

Regular snowboards give you a stance that's terrible for aero, so there's really no point in using a helmet that's meant for hang gliding or skydiving. Oh, and it will get destroyed very easily when you crash and the snow makes you roll over striking your head.

You don't 'need' a helmet to skateboard either
