Downhill in hawaii considered illegal stunt.

Aloha Coast,
Im posting this to see coasts views of this fucked up problem we face doing what we love in paradise. being one of hawaiis very passionate skaters, here i lay in the hospital coming up on 3 weeks this friday. Heres what happened roughly: 4 skaters, 1 cop (the head honcho of the area) cop pulls behind me, i drop a knee on my board and chill to let others get away as i head down a straight away, after all one ticket is better then four. Coming up to a quik left, right, left. I enter the first left to witness a huge FedEx truck in the second left, 3 skaters attempt to go around fedex, 2 bump into it, lose speed and end up kicking to resume there speed. i attempt to follow their line, as soon as i cross the yellow, a white SUV appears i slide for my life,to late, clipped by the front right side of an oncoming car and dragged 10-15 back up the mountain. im lucky to be alive...
on police report cops says he was 100ft away driving 25mph, we locals all know this is bullsh!t. we have older video of the same cop trying to run two local skaters into the bushes with the very same car. the skaters are literally inches away and able to touch the car, he actually succeeds in getting one into the bush.
In my eyes this is no way to handle skaters on the mountain, by putting us in way more danger then needed. Sadly there are more incidents by the same cop and a few locals.

Here is the medias view of what we do here.
click the video on that page for the broadcast aired on the news.

what actually happened that day was one of the most crucial positions ive ever been put in on that mountain. Here crossing the yellow is like jumping into hott lava, fuck that shit! something saved me that day, and i was saved for a purpose, maybe its to take this guy down. who knows. but as i live and breathe in hawaii, im going to do everything in my power to get skateboarding on better terms on this beautiful island.

classic example of biased press coverage.
for example, did anyone notice that in her
final note she referred to Kenny as a
teenager. a 22 yr old teenager?? i hate
this shit. only negative opinions on that
whole segment
