Meeting on February 4, 2011
Background
The Sunshine Coast Regional District, in
collaboration with the District of Sechelt,
Town of Gibsons, First Nations, and
provincial agencies, is undertaking a
comprehensive transportation study and plan.
The Study themes focus on regional
transportation and include:
Improving the safety and efficiency of the
existing Highway 101 route
Improving transit, bicycling and walking
options
Providing for a long-term alternative route
for Highway 101
Looking at opportunities to improve ferry and
air transportation links
Integrating better the above modes of
transportation
Bring your boards. Fill the room. Ask
thoughtful questions.
