Coast Longboarding Slide Jam and Saftey Clinic for 1st Responders in Skateboarding Trauma Accidents.

Special Guests Pep Williams, Waldo Autry, & K-Rimes, more to be announced...


...The Slide Jam kicks off at 9:30am with open runs

Riders Meeting at 10:15

Free Safety Clinic 11:30
Covers Skateboarder vs Auto, Guard Rail, Falls, Compound Fractures and Head Injuries.
Teaches EMS skills such as scene size up, asessment, history, splinting, pcr s, vital signs, and teaches hands on skills. etc

If you are planning on attending start now by becoming familiar with basic ems.

Abec 11 is providing training material and we look forward to sharing life saving skills.

Also, please understand this isn't a party, please don't bring a bunch of boos to the race. The main focus will be the free EMS class and you will retain more knowledge if you are sober.

This will also be taking place in Vancouver, BC on the same day as the Red Cross First Aid Course and Wellington, New Zealand First Aid and Gnar Shred in Feb? I believe.
