honey for road rash

wes posted,

well right up into ww2 people used UN-PASTURIZED honey to treat burns. coming back from sheeps creek i got good road rash on three areas of my body (duffy lake road)
my wife treated two of these areas with un-pasturized honey, the other single area with polysporin. WOW THE DIFFERENCE IS FUCKING AMAZING. hands down the honey cures faster with less pain less scaring. we used a non stick gauze she warmed up the honey then applyed to wound. on a side note the warm honey was uncomfortable at first but soothed out later. i think it had to do with how warm it was. honey is cheap. and all natural.
