I'm guessing she got bored and tired of working for the win. That's a shit load of work. But it's not like she's unbeatable anyway. She won 2 World cups out of 6 since IGSA started doing the womens category. Bettina won 05 and 06, Sarah won 07 and Dasha won 09.

Katie should be healed up for a Paskapoo World Cup return and then continue to the South American tour to try and get a consecutive series title after taking the whole season off.
Truth is, both Brianne and Katie are faster than alot of riders male or female. Katie will race again and if Brianne decides to make a return she will always be a hell of a contender. Watching her and Katie go down a hill together would be a dream.

Truuuuth. I had a full ACL construction in January and am now on team freeride as well! You know, I only beat Brianne twice... her first race back from a broken leg and then in the piss pouring rain, a style of riding i happen to do alot ;).
On another note, Looks like there should be a hell of a turn up for for calgary's world championships though... Im gonna try and get back on my board for the Ladies freeride at the end of July and just go from there, no promises...just love to this knee of mine. Doc did a bang up job and now im headin viva loColombia for 3 months to get lost in some spanish lovin while all the racing is going on here in BC through may,june and july.
An ending note...
Skate safe and stay on your fucking skateboards ladies!!! Through skating with a hella injury in all of 2011, ive learned just how fast you can be when your goal in race heats is nothing but a retarded level of consistency. Keep in mind Bri never fell in a race run (unless it was my fault :P) and after i managed to grow up a bit, I sure as hell didn't come off my board once as well.
Honest, its cannonballs like my previous self that make girls like Bri (and myself, now) scared to trust and get tangled on course. This is supposed to be fun, not any more dangerous than it naturally is. Of course you wanna win, but remember its just skateboarding... all fun and games. bitches got emotions, but we're all better off Leavin them at home along with our pride and getting down the hill in one peice.
passing where noone see's is better than a hero pass in the spectator corner that leads to nothing but crashesssssssssssssssss. this is what i've learned. hahahhaha
