instead of the money originally planned, the was

win it big at skateboard races.
i currently cannot attend races until
late july or august when i have re
accumulated the funding necessary for
wheels travel and enrty, and payed the
debts to those who have helped me
through last months events. its quite
expensive to reach the top where big
companies want to hook a rider up and we
all know this.
ideally everyone who makes the finals
gets their entry back. that seems moral
to me. whatever place you take in that
final heat increases your winnings
exponentially.
Skateboard racing on the north american
west coast is very cultural series of
gatherings for our people to get
together and be very merry. i love all
the times i share with all you coasties,
it makes slangin tin on the daily and
havin not alot of energy left but to eat
dinner, sleep, wake up and work the next
day again worth it.
i dont want to see this scene turn to Communism so i really feel the only
races worth attending(until i get the
full sponsor shapeup) are the ones run
by those who are willing to break even
for their efforts. i dont need prize
money if its coming out of the
organizers pockets, but greed is a sin
lest we forget.
give and you shall receive right eh.
never take. dont push people into hay to
win. dont push prize money to win.
unless the shaft in the ass is what you
wish to receive..
strike bought a fuckin RV to make sheeps
creek a good time for all those who
chose to attend. he didnt pocket fuck
all. thats a low key event, but MUCH
more worth my time than the brittannia
classic this year. we gotta see that
sheep skull get outta whistler so lets
see all you fuckers out there next year!
i got sixth at kelowna this year, almost
won some dough. james kelly and gmac are
hard to beat. I told lee id boogy to
whistler if i won some dough at kelowna.
he jinxed me.

Everyone in the Open final deserves a payout, whether its a 4 man or a 6 man final. Each one of those racers out perfomed EVERY SINGLE PERSON watching them in the finals, and they deserve to get their entries back for sure.
Junior prize money shouldn't be advertised. If the winner outperformed people by a long shot (example: Brendan davidson, Vernon) then hell yeah! he deserves some dough back. The advertised purse should be for the opens class only though, as they are the 'pro' class every other class should be aiming towards being competative in.
Sponsor swag has Junior written all over it. If they are lucky enough to be sponsored and 'can't' ride the gear they win...then they can sell it off for some external prize money.
