Racing will be super fun and innovative. Be prepared to race all day long! There will be two quick practice runs, then we will launch into SUB-CLASS racing and qualifying.

Amateur

OPEN CLASS AFTER LUNCH
These classes will be for some modest prizes, and more importantly for qualifying for the OPEN CLASS racing in the afternoon (after a wicked lunch included in entry fee).
The winners from each class will be placed in top qualifying spots, competing against the pros who got knocked out earlier in their sub class qualifying races.
All classes will place down to 8th place, and amateurs and pros will place down to 16th, so expect to keep racing if you don't advance. Head to head racing for the semi-finals, same as previous years.
Every person that makes it into the quarter finals will do two more heats for placement down to 16th.
There will be a couple rules for different classes.
AMATEUR CLASS, which I am most excited for, includes NO SPONSORSHIPS or HOOKUPS. Also for amateur class, you will be permitted ONE WHEEL CHANGE. You only get two sets of wheels for the entire amateur circuit, so choose your wheel swap wisely. Most amateur racers won't have 3 - 8 sets of wheels anyway!!
PRO class racing / qualifying will NOT BE FOR prizes. It will be for bragging rights.
OPEN CLASS will be everyone tossed in. Who thinks the same person will win pro and open? What if an AMATEUR won?? They'd be bound to be sponsored.
Race formats will be posted prior to race day so you can see what's going on and how many heats you will be racing.
This will be an action and thrill packed day of racing your friends, rivals and more importantly people within your age group, skill level and / or class.
