4-MAN BOARDERCROSS IS COMING TO CATHLAMENT! Entry is limited to 64 people. Practice starts at approximately 3:30 on Saturday afternoon. There will be 4 qualifying heats to determine the race brackets and, if time permits, all 64 positions will be raced out. The Maryhill Ratz are offering $500 in prizes, 1st $250, 2nd $125, 3rd $75 and 4th $50. The course will start on Butler Street with the 4 man start ramps and the riders will race straight through some crappy concrete into the first turn, The Rat Tail. This is a 90 degree banked turn which leads the racers into the Five Mile Tabletop where racers have the choice of launching the whole thing of pump the top. The tabletops are 8’ wide so be sure you have your position or you may get bumped off, not fun. There will be 2 more turns and hopefully one more table top before the finish line. Skyhooks are acceptable and helmets, full pads (elbow and knee), shoes and gloves are required. These are required due to the expected carnage the course will dish out. There may be some open spots the day of the event but do not count on it.
