landing,pull rigging, hook tender, faller, first aid
dude, or just a plain old choker man, run a
loader,or a tower ,skidder, aframe with a skyline,
yeah the list is long, ever pack an osco up the
side hill change roads, blah blah. Good on you

that was a shit sucking job, the next step up was
setting beads.(chokerman) we where runnig a
little donkey with a wooden spur. Just 3 of us,
Christ I almost killed Jerry the
hooker/riggingslinger/choker man, I blew the
wrong signal. Right pissed he was. That was a
hundred yrs ago, moved onto many other logging
jobs all over the coast. I still remember all the
whistle signals, good time gettng drunk as fuck in
the bars hahahahahahaha
