it is sooooo very heart breaking to know there are still people out there riding longboards without helmets on. I have seen at least a dozen kids out there ridin without lids. Everybody needs to start feelling the need to wear the safety gear. If you do and you wipe out with the gear on you get up and keep riding that day. If you dont wear the gear and wipe out you are less likely to get on your board and keep riding, either fromfear of doing something sooo painful again or you will just stop thinking all together. It makes me sad to see so many getting hurt so badly just to look cool doing it. the gear these days is soooo awesome and lifesaving that it boggles the mind that anybody would not think to wear it. Waky waky eggs and bacy dont scramble the yoke between your ears, get a lid, wear it, love it, especially when you get up after a killer spill and are able to just give your head a shake and keep riding. live love and learn.
