Slalom races?

I've been dodging cones for the last few years and have yet to
meet anyone else into it. Are there any races/big sessions in
the lower mainland that anyone knows about? The closest
race I know about is cathlemet and I'm hoping to make that
but any other info would be appreciated. With the average
age of a longboarder seeming to be about 14 these days I'm
hoping slalom is going to pick up with the older coastie
crowd!
